The Hillsborough Schools Foundation (HSF) was formed in 1980 as one of the first education foundations in California and the United States. Over the past 27 years, our community has responded to the school district's needs with tremendous support, recognizing that in today's world, private funding is critical to the success of public education.

With contributions over the years totaling more than $26 million, the results of this community's generosity are reflected in every area of our school curriculum. Eighty-five percent of our parents and close to 500 families without children in our schools continue to contribute generously to HSF's Annual Giving Campaign.

While our community is donating dollars for our schools, we are also supporting HSF Events, which raise substantial revenue through exciting community activities and events. Each fall, HSF Events sponsors the Hillsborough Classic Tennis Tournament and Luncheon, followed in the winter by the Dinner Dance and Auction. This spring welcomes the 51st annual Concours d'Elegance Car Show and Carnival, followed by the First Annual Family Fun Day.
